The Senior Center is an active and busy place that offers a host of enjoyable activities for Beaumont’s seniors. Among other things, it provides information and assistance for older adults, their families, and persons with disabilities. In addition, it provides volunteer activities for the area’s many senior citizens.
A primary commitment of the Senior Services Department is to provide better home and community based services for older adults and persons with disabilities.
The City of Beaumont has partnered with Riverside County Office on Aging and Family Service Association (FSA) to provide meals to seniors in the Beaumont community.
The program is held every Thursday from 10am to 12pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meals will be served to-go on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will receive five nutritious frozen meals, bread, milk, and fruit.
The program is open to all in-need seniors over the age of 60. The CRC is located at 1310 Oak Valley Parkway. For more information, please contact Beaumont Parks and Recreation at (951) 769-8524. For more information on food and senior resources, please contact the Riverside Office on Aging Hotline (800) 510-2020.
